In January of 2018, about five years into my journey in the world of HCM, I sat down with my husband and began developing an idea for a business—one I affectionately nicknamed "Ask Emma," inspired by my first name. However, since "Ask Emma" was already a well-known tool in the industry, it didn’t make the final cut for the business name.
At the time, I was deeply immersed in the world of Payroll & HR sales, having worked with several vendors. I never saw myself as the typical sales rep. Instead of constantly seeking new clients, I found myself investing more time and energy into the clients I had already secured. This focus on client success is something I still prioritize as a business owner today.
Fast forward several years, and that initial idea has evolved into what we now know as TKG. My firsthand experience in the industry fueled my desire to create meaningful change and better support clients through such a critical process and investment. This dream has been years in the making, and seeing it come to life is truly a dream come true.
Today, I’m proud to have a growing team, a robust client base, and incredible partners. TKG was built to fulfill a long-held vision: to guide clients through the toughest transitions.
